What’s wrong with the world mama?

Something is terribly wrong with our planet. Every time I switched on the television or read a newspaper there is always a disaster or calamities being reported. This is no joke. Just last year we experienced the Asian Tsunami that hit 12 countries and killed for God only knows how many people. We are so lucky to be spared from that disaster. I went to Phuket in Thailand a few years ago for a holiday and was so stunned how devastated the island was. I can’t believe that the paradise I visited before was now a place full of rubble and scattered dead bodies. Not a very comforting idea. Then we had hurricane Katrina that flooded the whole city of New Orleans. We can clearly see that even a powerful nation, like the U.S., has no match for natural calamities like Katrina. And just recently a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 in Richter scale kills thousand of people in South Asia, Pakistan is hit hardest. Search and rescue operation is still on going and the toll is widely expected to rise. Those are the signs that the end of the world is near?!?!?! Oh my… There are still a lot of things I want to accomplish!

Our planet is surely getting wilder and wilder every year. The blame is definitely on us. We’re exploiting and abusing our resources so I guess its pay back time. Brace yourself. I’m sure there’s more to come. But before it happen, we should act now and do our share in saving our mother earth. Go green! (La Salle ba?!?! Joke!)
